Great food quality and selection. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was clean and neat but a little dated. A little nostalgia is good!

Me, my husband and a few friends from my local church had a fellowship get together here. The food was delicious and talk about bread, they have the best garlic bread, bread and butter I have ever had. The staff is very courteous and kind. The only bad side is they close early and don’t have a lot for night staffing. I would highly recommend this place for a nice place to eat and have a social get together for lunch. Service is great.

My family and I came here to try something new and were met with a wonderful surprise. There was plenty of free parking and we were immediately seated even though the restaurant was very busy. The service was polite, friendly, and direct. The menu was diverse but what really stood out were the available specials and the diversity of the comfort food available. The portions were superb and prices very affordable. This was a great Sunday breakfast/brunch meal.

Donna our waiter gave us amazing service for my hubby birthday! She was very prompt about giving us or drinks food and our coffee refills! Love this restaurant and will go again! Huge portions! My husband and I come to Take A Break every Sunday. The staff is awesome, and the food is good, with good sized portions. It's a hometown diner, and the prices are very reasonable. We can eat there for about 30.

Had breakfast at Take a Break restaurant. Great diner, feel, and atmosphere. Ordered the egg, bacon, and cheese on a roll, with home fries and an English muffin. With orange juice. The home fries were cooked perfectly. Today's visit 3/26. Ordered the House scrambled, 3 scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage,peppers, onions, and cheese. Nice portion, had a great flavor. A definite try if you're hungry for breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was tasty with a great flavor. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. They offer a wide variety for breakfast. They also serve lunch and dinner, plenty of dessert choices in the case. Give them a try for some great food.

Always consistently good meals at an affordable price. We take our family here every so often and we haven't had a bad experience yet. The servers are always friendly, the food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is quaint. An all around good place to try.

Update 10/23/24..husband and I stopped for lunch and their MOP (mushroom, onion, pepper) burger and it was delicious!! Always friendly servers! Love this place My husband and I went for breakfast. The service was great. The food was good and you got a lot of it.
